New York Unemployment Payment Delay Due to Holiday - What to Expect
Just wanted to let everyone know that since yesterday was a holiday, unemployment payments will be delayed by one day this week. This always happens with Monday holidays, so don't panic if you don't see your money right away.

If anyone needs to reach unemployment about payment issues, I found this site claimyr.com that calls and waits on hold for you then connects you when someone picks up. Costs $20 but worth every penny https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

Good looking out! I'm still pretty new to this whole process and wasn't sure if the delay was normal or if something was wrong with my claim. Really appreciate community members like you sharing this info 🙏

•@Andre Dupont totally understand the confusion! I went through the same thing my first few months. The holiday delays are super predictable once you know the pattern - any federal holiday that falls on Monday will push everything back a day. Memorial Day, Labor Day, MLK Day, Presidents Day, etc. Just bookmark this info for future reference!
