New York Unemployment: Certified Yesterday But No Processing Status Showing
I certified my weekly benefits yesterday but when I check my account online nothing shows up about it being processed. Does anyone know if this is normal or if I should be worried about not getting paid this week?

This happens sometimes, the website can be slow to update. Give it 24-48 hours and check again. As long as you got the confirmation number after certifying youre good 👍

If you're worried about getting through to someone, I used claimyr.com to reach an agent. It costs $20 but they handle the calling and hold time then connect you when someone picks up. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

This is a common issue with NY unemployment website. Its super outdated. Sometimes my payment status doesnt show up until the day I actually get paid lol

Here's what you need to know about certification processing: The system typically updates overnight between 7pm-7am. If you certified on Sunday, it usually shows up by Tuesday morning. Direct deposit takes 1-2 business days after processing. Paper checks take 5-7 days. Always keep your confirmation number. If nothing shows by Wednesday, use claimyr.com to get through to an agent quickly. The regular phone lines are usually jammed. Common delays happen when: - System maintenance - Holiday weekends - Technical glitches - Random verification flags Dont panic if the status isn't immediate. About 95% of claims process normally even if the website is slow to show it.
