How to file UI claims for multiple weeks at once? (NYDOL)
Hey everyone, I'm trying to file claims for multiple weeks at once. Has anyone else had to do this? I'm not sure if there's a limit on how many weeks I can file for in one go. Any advice would be appreciated!

Ugh, I've been there. It's such a pain trying to file for multiple weeks. I think there might be a limit, but I'm not 100% sure. Have you tried calling the unemployment office? They might be able to help you out.

ā¢Same here. It's like trying to win the lottery just to talk to a human being these days.

ā¢Yeah, you're right. It's practically impossible to get through on the phone. Maybe try early in the morning? That's when I had the most luck.

I actually found a way to get someone on the phone! I used this site called claimyr.com. It's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then sends the call to your phone when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it worked for me. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

ā¢Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit?

ā¢I was skeptical at first too, but I can confirm it works. Saved me hours of frustration.

ā¢How long did you have to wait before they called you back?

ā¢It took about 2 hours for me, but it beats spending all day trying to get through!

From what I remember, you can file for up to 4 weeks at a time. But don't quote me on that lol. The system is always changing š¤·āāļø

Here's what I know about filing multiple weeks: ⢠You can typically file for up to 4 weeks at once ⢠Make sure you have all the information for each week ready (earnings, job search activities, etc.) ⢠If you're filing for weeks that are more than 14 days old, you might need to provide a reason for the late filing ⢠Sometimes the online system glitches when filing multiple weeks, so be patient and try again if it doesn't work the first time ⢠If you run into issues, try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

ā¢Great info! Just wanted to add that I've had success using the mobile app for filing multiple weeks. Seems to be more stable than the website sometimes.

ā¢Totally agree. It's almost like they hope we'll just give up and go away.

Pro tip: Keep a detailed log of all your attempts to file claims. If there's ever an issue with backdating or late filing, having documentation can really help your case.

Has anyone else noticed that the system seems to work better late at night? I've had the most success filing claims around 11 PM or midnight. Might be worth a shot if you're having trouble during the day.
