How long does it take NYS Department of Labor to process weekly claim - still waiting after 5 days
I submitted my weekly unemployment claim on Sunday night like I always do, but it's now Friday and my payment status is still showing 'processing' on my.ny.gov. Usually my direct deposit hits by Wednesday. I haven't changed anything about my claim - same job search activities, same availability answers. Is this normal or should I be worried? How long does it typically take NYS Department of Labor to process weekly claims?

If you're past the normal processing window, you should definitely contact NYS Department of Labor. However, getting through by phone can be extremely frustrating.
