Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. The notice code on April 27, 2020 is what you need to follow up on. Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 and ask about that specific notice. They can tell you exactly what it was for and resend it if needed.

Not to hijack your thread but I've been having the WORST experience with ny unemployment. My account got hacked and someone changed my direct deposit info. Been trying to reach them for 3 weeks with no luck. Has anyone successfully gotten through to them lately? I'm desperate.

Someone might have reported your account as fraudulent. My roommate had an ex who did this to him out of spite and his account got locked immediately. Had to go through a whole identity verification process to get it back.
