If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Does anyone know if there's an email address we can use instead of calling? I've been dealing with the same issues and can't get through on any phone line.

There's a contact form on their website but they take forever to respond. I submitted one 3 weeks ago and still nothing

Try messaging them on Twitter. Sometimes their social media team is more responsive than their actual support staff 💯

Have you tried using the mobile app instead of the website? Sometimes it works when the main site is down. The NY unemployment app isn't great but it might be a workaround for now.

I didn't even know they had an app! Will look for it now

Search for "NY State" in app store - it has multiple services including unemployment. The interface is terrible but at least it works most of the time

i didn't even know this was a thing until i randomly got $940 deposited in my account from the IRS last month. check your accounts, might already be there!

That gives me hope! Did you get any kind of notice before it showed up?

Nope, absolutely nothing. Just appeared one day with a weird code on my bank statement. Had to google what it was!

Friendly reminder that this adjustment is only for FEDERAL taxes. NY State still taxes all your unemployment benefits. Just don't want anyone to be confused about why their refund seems smaller than expected.

Ohhh that makes sense. I was wondering about that part. Thanks for clarifying!

Had this exact problem with id verification. Kept sendng pics for months and nothing worked. Finally I gave up on the online portal and just FAXED my id to them (yes, fax lol). Got approved in 48 hours. Sometimes the old school methods work better with these dinosaur agencies.

Who has a fax machine in 2023?! 😂

I used an online fax service lol. But I swear this worked when nothing else did. Government agencies love their 1990s technology.

Here's a wild thought that worked for me - I cropped my ID photos VERY precisely. Like, cut off everything except the actual ID itself, no background visible at all. The system seemed to struggle when there was too much background in the image. After I did this, approved on first try after 3 rejections.

Hate to be that person, but did you try all the variations of your email? Like if you normally use name@gmail.com, try n.ame@gmail.com or na.me@gmail.com - gmail ignores dots in addresses but some systems register them as different emails. Worth a shot!

When you filed your claim originally, did you set up direct deposit then or was it added later? If it was later you might be able to use the paper check option as a fallback. Still have to talk to someone but sometimes the paper check option has a different verification process. Just thinking outside the box here cause I've been through this circus.

I set it up when I first filed. Is there a way to switch to paper checks without ID.me verification?

In my experience you still need to verify identity but sometimes they have alternative methods if you explain you can't access ID.me. Worth asking about when you get someone on the phone.
