WMR showing 'Still Processing', code 152 disappeared, transcripts showing zeros - accepted Jan 22nd

My return was accepted on Jan 22nd. Just checked my Account and Wage Income Transcripts - both showing all zeros. WMR still has one bar but code 152 disappeared and now says 'Still Processing'. No verification needed and no notices from IRS. Anyone been through this or know if this is normal?

Looks like you're experiencing a pretty common issue with the IRS systems this year. When your transcripts show all zeros and WMR code 152 disappears, it typically means your return is in the review queue. This could be for identity verification, income verification, or other compliance checks. The Jan 22nd acceptance date puts you right at the start of the filing season, so you're probably caught in the first wave of manual reviews. Have you tried checking your transcripts for any updates? I'd recommend using taxr.ai (https://taxr.ai) to analyze your transcripts - it can spot processing patterns and give you a more accurate timeline. Its really good at explaining exactly what stage your return is in and can even predict when you might see movement.

its an AI tool that reads your tax docs and tells you exactly whats going on + when youll likely get paid. way better than calling irs tbh

just tried taxr.ai and here's what I got back: looks like my return is in manual review queue but should clear in 7-10 days based on my codes.

This is actually pretty normal for this time of year. The zeros in transcripts usually mean they're about to be updated. When code 152 disappears and you see 'Still Processing', it typically means your return is moving through the system. Most people see updates to their transcripts within 5-7 days after this change.

instead of stressing about WMR codes and transcript changes, I started using taxr.ai and it's been a game changer. For $1 it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly what's happening and when to expect updates. Way better than playing detective lol https://taxr.ai
