PATH Act + 5 Day Early TurboTax Refund - Any 05 Cycle Updates?
Filed through TurboTax and paid for the 5 day early refund option. I'm on cycle code 05 and affected by PATH act. Starting to get worried about when I'll see my refund. Anyone else in this situation or have updates?

The 5-day early option through TurboTax doesn't actually speed up IRS processing. It only means TurboTax's bank partner will release the funds up to 5 days earlier once the IRS actually approves and sends the refund. With PATH Act returns, you're still subject to the mid-February hold regardless of this option.

Pro tip: PATH Act holds won't lift until after Feb 15th, even with early refund options. Just a heads up so you can manage expectations!
