TurboTax 5-day early refund with PATH Act - worth the extra cost?
Anyone else pay extra for the 5 day early refund access on TurboTax this year? Starting to think I wasted my money since I claim EIC and have to wait for PATH to lift anyway. Getting worried I threw away money for nothing since PATH holds everything up regardless

Tax professional here - the 5-day early access won't help with PATH Act delays. The PATH Act mandates the IRS hold ALL refunds that include Earned Income Credit until mid-February, regardless of how you file or what services you pay for. The TurboTax feature only applies to how quickly you get your refund AFTER the IRS releases it.
