Code 20250405 on transcript - Filed 1/17, accepted 1/18 - When will I get my refund with TurboTax early deposit?
My transcript is showing cycle code 20250405 and I filed with TurboTax on Jan 17th, got accepted Jan 18th. I signed up for the 5-day early refund option with TurboTax. Anyone know when I should expect my refund to hit my account?

The cycle code 20250405 indicates your return is processed on a weekly cycle (05 at the end). The 2025 part is just the processing year, not your actual deposit date. Based on your filing/acceptance dates and assuming no delays, you should see your refund by early February. The TurboTax 5-day early thing only works after the IRS releases the funds.

That TurboTax 5 day early thing is kinda misleading tbh. They cant give you the money until the IRS releases it, and even then sometimes banks hold it

Careful with the early deposit option. its basically just a short term loan and if theres any issues with your return you could end up owing them money back

Filed 1/19 and accepted same day with cycle code 20250405 too! Still waiting on mine as well. From what I've researched, the "05" means we're on the weekly Friday processing cycle, so our refunds should be released this Friday 2/7. Then it depends on your bank how fast they process it. Keep checking WMR (Where's My Refund) tool on IRS.gov for the most accurate updates!
