H&R Block to Chime Direct Deposit - Anyone Receive Their Refund Today?
Just checking in with fellow taxpayers who filed through H&R Block with Chime as their DD method. According to the DDD timeline on my transcript, today should be deposit day for the Q1 batch processing. Anyone else in the same boat see funds hit their account yet? I've been tracking the ACH processing windows and typically see deposits between 9am-2pm EST, but nothing so far. Just trying to gauge if this is a systemic delay or just my particular filing.

I'm in the EXACT same boat and still nothing! Filed on February 2nd, got accepted same day, and transcript shows today as DDD. Chime usually posts early but NOTHING YET! I've been refreshing my account every 20 minutes since midnight. So frustrating when you're counting on that money!

Last year I had the same setup - H&R Block with Chime DD. My deposit came through around 4:30pm even though my DDD was that day. The year before it came at 10am sharp. There's no consistency with these electronic transfers! I've learned that ACH processing happens in batches throughout the day, and sometimes the IRS sends them in different priority queues depending on volume.

Chime deposits can come anytime today. Not just business hours. IRS sends batches throughout the day. Some people reported deposits at 6pm. Others at 9pm. Check the Chime subreddit for patterns. Today's batch seems delayed overall.

If your deposit doesn't arrive by tomorrow, here's what you should do: 1. First, check your transcript again to confirm the DDD is definitely today 2. Verify the last 4 digits of the account number on your return matches your Chime account 3. If everything looks correct but no deposit by tomorrow afternoon, you'll need to contact the IRS directly This is where many people get stuck - calling the regular IRS number can mean hours on hold. I used Claimyr (https://www.claimyr.com) to get through to an agent in about 15 minutes instead of spending all day redialing. They connected me directly to the refund department where an agent confirmed my deposit was sent but had the wrong account number (my error when filing).

Just got mine! Anyone else checking their Chime every 5 minutes today? Was beginning to think something went wrong with my return, but it finally showed up at 3:42pm EST. Didn't even get a notification until I opened the app. Why is tax season always so stressful? At least it's over for another year!

Same here! Filed with H&R Block on Jan 28th and have been waiting all day. My transcript shows today as DDD but still nothing in my Chime account as of 4:15pm EST. Starting to get worried something went wrong, but reading these comments is reassuring that deposits are still trickling in throughout the day.
