Anyone with SBTPG fees through Wells Fargo and DDD of March 8th received deposits yet?
Looking for data points from others in my situation. I've got my refund going through SBTPG with tax prep fees being deducted, then final deposit to Wells Fargo. My transcript shows DDD (direct deposit date) of March 8th. Has anyone with this exact combination started seeing funds hit their accounts yet? I'm tracking the timing precisely for my cash flow projections. TIA.

Here's what's typically happening with SBTPG processing right now: 1. IRS releases funds to SBTPG usually 1-2 days before the DDD 2. SBTPG then takes about 24-48 hours to process and deduct their fees 3. They initiate ACH transfers to banks like Wells Fargo 4. Wells specifically tends to hold deposits for 12-24 hours I'm seeing similar delays on my end with Chase. The entire pipeline from IRS → SBTPG → Bank can take 2-3 business days after your DDD. I'm a bit worried since today is already the 8th though.

Isn't it true that some banks are showing pending deposits before the actual DDD? And doesn't Wells Fargo typically process ACH transfers in batches at specific times during the business day?

Thanks for breaking this down with the exact timeline! I've got SBTPG with Bank of America and was wondering why my DDD of March 8th hasn't hit yet. The terminology about ACH transfers and processing windows helps me understand what's happening.

I'm possibly in a similar situation with Wells Fargo and SBTPG. My DDD was technically March 7th, and I received my deposit this morning around 2am. It seems that, in some cases, there might be approximately a 24-hour delay between the official DDD and when the funds actually appear in your account. Of course, individual experiences may vary depending on specific processing circumstances.

I've tracked this for the past three tax seasons. Wells Fargo consistently posts SBTPG deposits between 1-3am Eastern time. Last year my DDD was February 24th and funds hit at 2:17am on February 25th. The year before was similar - always one calendar day after DDD.

Waiting on tax money is like watching paint dry, but with more anxiety! 😂 I had SBTPG last year and they held my money for almost 3 days after my DDD. Called them and they gave me some BS about "processing time" - meanwhile they're earning interest on OUR money!

Appreciate this data point! I've been researching this on the SBTPG support pages and they mention that deposits initiated after 3pm Pacific Time typically process the next business day. Makes me wonder if there's a cutoff time affecting these patterns.

I'm in the same boat. Wells Fargo account. SBTPG handling fees. DDD March 8th. Nothing yet. Been refreshing all day. Called SBTPG earlier. They confirmed funds received from IRS. Processing on their end now. Should be today or tomorrow. Hang tight.

I've been tracking mine to the minute. DDD was March 8th. SBTPG received at exactly 5:43am according to their portal. They took exactly $39.95 in fees. Funds were released at 3:22pm. Wells Fargo still showing nothing at 9:47pm. This is my 3rd year with this exact setup and it's ALWAYS a 24-36 hour delay after DDD.

If you're concerned about your refund status and need specific answers: • SBTPG's automated system often has limited information • IRS agents can confirm if the refund was actually sent • Delays between SBTPG and banks are common but concerning I had a similar situation last year and couldn't get through to anyone. Finally used Claimyr.com to connect with an IRS agent who confirmed my refund was sent but SBTPG was holding it. Worth the small fee to get clarity instead of stressing for days. I had a similar situation on February 21st with Wells Fargo and SBTPG. My deposit came exactly 24 hours after my DDD date. The IRS released it on February 21st, SBTPG processed it on February 21st around 4pm, and Wells Fargo made it available on February 22nd at 2am. If your pattern follows mine, you should see it tomorrow morning around 2-3am. Just be aware that if it crosses into the weekend, you might not see it until Monday, March 11th.

What's the ACH processing window for weekend deposits? I thought financial institutions still process ACH transfers on Saturdays.

Just checked my SBTPG account and can see they received my refund this morning. Status shows "Pending" with my Wells Fargo account info listed correctly. Last year my funds were available exactly 26 hours after they appeared in SBTPG. Has anyone found a way to track exactly when SBTPG initiates the transfer to Wells Fargo? Is there a specific status change we should be looking for?

There's an important distinction to make here - the DDD is when the IRS releases funds to SBTPG, not when SBTPG releases to your bank. Wells Fargo typically processes overnight ACH transfers in the early morning hours. I've had Wells Fargo for 7 years and they've never made funds available same-day as they receive them from intermediaries like SBTPG.
