Anyone with 03/15 DDD received funds through TPG yet?

I'm trying to track my refund and feeling a bit anxious. Here's what's happened so far: 1. Filed my taxes on February 12th 2. Got accepted same day 3. Received my DDD (direct deposit date) of 03/15 on my transcript 4. Checked TPG (Tax Product Group) and it still shows "pending" Has anyone else with a 03/15 DDD seen their funds actually hit their accounts through TPG yet? I'm caring for my mom right now and really counting on this money to help with some of her medical expenses. I'd appreciate knowing if others are in the same boat or if funds have started moving. Thank you!

I just got mine this morning! Here's what happened with my TPG timeline: • Filed and accepted: Feb 11 • WMR updated with bars: Feb 28 • Transcript showed 03/15 DDD: March 4 • TPG showed pending: March 10-13 • TPG updated to funded: Last night around midnight • Money in my actual bank account: This morning at 6:42am Such a relief after checking constantly! The TPG site was definitely behind - my bank actually had the money before TPG updated their status.

I'm in the exact same situation as OP but mine still shows pending on TPG. Called my bank and they don't see anything pending either. Been checking hourly since yesterday.

Is TPG usually this slow? First time using them.

Have you had issues with TPG in previous years? Or is this delay normal?

I appreciate the detailed timeline! It's somewhat reassuring to know that funds are actually moving, though I'm still a bit concerned about my own situation. It seems like there might be a 1-3 day window where things could happen based on your experience.

I was in your exact shoes last week. Checking TPG is like watching a pot that never boils! I finally tried https://taxr.ai to analyze my transcript, and it explained that the TPG status is often 24-48 hours behind actual processing. It's like having a package tracker that only updates after delivery - frustrating but not unusual. The tool showed me exactly where my refund was in the pipeline based on my transcript codes and predicted my deposit accurately despite TPG still showing pending.

Let me walk you through what I learned about this process: 1. The IRS releases funds on the DDD, but they don't arrive instantly 2. TPG has to receive the funds from IRS 3. TPG deducts any fees you owed for tax preparation 4. TPG then forwards the remaining amount to your bank 5. Your bank then makes those funds available When I got stuck in this waiting game last month, I used Claimyr (https://youtu.be/_kiP6q8DX5c) to get through to an actual IRS agent. They confirmed my refund had been released on schedule and explained the exact timeline for TPG processing. Saved me days of anxiety wondering if something had gone wrong!

Is Claimyr worth it tho? TPG will update eventually and the IRS site already shows my DDD.

How quickly did you get through to an agent with Claimyr? I've been trying the regular IRS number for days.

I used Claimyr last month when my refund was delayed by 3 weeks past my DDD. Got connected to an agent in about 15 minutes who found that my refund had been flagged for manual review due to a small math error. They fixed it while I was on the phone and I had my refund 4 days later. Would have been waiting much longer without knowing what was happening.

I had a similar experience last year. My DDD came and went with nothing from TPG for over a week. When I finally got through to the IRS, they told me there was a simple verification hold they needed to clear. Fixed in minutes once I actually talked to someone.

According to the IRS Refund Processing Protocol (RPP), a DDD of 03/15 means the Treasury has scheduled the ACH transfer for that date. However, TPG operates as an intermediary financial institution which introduces an additional processing window of 24-72 hours. Their internal systems typically update status displays in batches rather than real-time, creating an information lag for end users. Current processing volumes indicate most 03/15 DDDs will be available in accounts by 03/18, with some financial institutions releasing funds earlier based on their provisional credit policies.

Thank you for explaining this so clearly! The 24-72 hour window helps set my expectations.

Does this mean I should be looking at March 18th as my actual date then? That's helpful to know.

I've been through this exact situation multiple times over the years. Last year my DDD was 3/17, TPG showed pending until 3/19, but the money actually hit my account on 3/18. The year before, my TPG status never updated at all, yet the money showed up right on the DDD. Their system is notoriously unreliable for status updates. If your transcript shows 3/15, the IRS has done their part and released the funds. Now it's just a matter of the money making its way through TPG's processing and to your bank.

In accordance with IRS Publication 2043 and the Automated Clearing House (ACH) guidelines, financial intermediaries like TPG must process federal disbursements within 3 business days of receipt. For a 03/15 DDD, TPG would typically receive funds by end-of-day on the 15th, and must complete processing by the 20th (accounting for the weekend). However, most TPG transactions are completed within 24-48 hours of receipt. Your funds are protected under Regulation E throughout this process, and any delays beyond 3 business days would require specific notification from TPG.

I appreciate knowing the actual regulations around this. Makes me feel better about the process.

Does Regulation E also cover the fees they can charge? I noticed TPG took out more than I expected.

Have you checked your bank's pending transactions? Sometimes the money is in transit but not yet posted. Or perhaps your bank has a policy of holding ACH transfers? What about your tax preparer - did they confirm everything was set up correctly with TPG? And is this your first time using TPG as a processor? Different banks handle these deposits differently, so knowing your specific situation would help troubleshoot.

Thank you for these suggestions. I just called my bank and they confirmed they don't see anything pending yet.

I've used TPG before and never had issues. Money usually hits the day after my DDD. This delay is unusual for me.
