Finally off adjudication after 10 weeks! DEO payment timeline question

Just got the email today that my DEO claim is finally off adjudication status!! Applied back in mid-January and it's been stuck for almost 10 weeks. The CONNECT system kept showing 'pending adjudication' with some vague issue about my previous employer. Called like 200 times but never got through to anyone. I'm so relieved but also annoyed it took this long. For anyone who's been through this before - how long after adjudication gets cleared do they typically release payments? I've got 7 weeks of back payments that should be coming. Is it automatic or do I need to call someone to push it through? My account still says 'pending' but the adjudication status is gone.

Congrats on getting through adjudication! When mine cleared last year, I received all my back payments within 48-72 hours. The system processes these automatically once the hold is removed. Your CONNECT status should update to 'Processed' within a day, then payments typically hit your account 2-3 business days after that. Keep checking your payment history screen for updates - that will show payment dates before you actually receive the money. No need to call unless nothing happens within 5 business days.

OMG that's such a relief! I was worried I'd have to wait another month. Thank you!! Will keep checking the payment screen. Fingers crossed it all comes through by the end of this week.

dont count on it lol. mine took 2 WEEKS after adjudication cleared. DEO system is completely broken. they said 'processed' for days but nothing hit my account. kept saying 'be patient' when i called. HORRIBLE SYSTEM.

Oh no, seriously? That sucks! Did you have to do anything special to make the payments actually release? I'm already behind on rent and can't wait 2 more weeks! 😩

While most claims do process automatically after adjudication clears, there can sometimes be secondary holds. The key is checking your CONNECT account's "Determination, Pending Issues and Decision Summary" page - not just the main dashboard. If everything is clear there, payments should process within the next payment cycle. In my experience helping others with DEO issues, about 80% of claims pay out within 3-5 business days after adjudication clears. The other 20% might require additional action or verification.

I just checked that page and it says "No pending issues found" - hopefully that's a good sign! Thanks for the tip. I'll keep an eye on both pages.

Mine cleared last month and took 4 days. My brother's took 6 days. I think it depends on what day of the week it clears... weekends don't count for processing.

adjudication is the WORST!!!!! I was stuck for 14 weeks last year and almost got evicted. then when they finally cleared it I had to call every day for a week because they kept saying there was "one more thing" to verify. DEO is a complete joke

I had the exact same experience. And then when I did finally get through on the phones, I got disconnected twice after waiting for over an hour. I finally tried Claimyr (claimyr.com) and got connected to an agent in 10 minutes. They actually have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj. Worth it to resolve those lingering issues after adjudication - some claims need an agent to manually release the payments even when the system says it's clear.

mine was 3 days after adjidication lifted. but then half my weeks said 'disqualified' for no reason???!! had to appeal those. make sure u double check each individual week status not just the overall claim.

OMG that's scary! I'll definitely check each week. This whole process is so stressful. Did your appeal work out?

One more tip - if you're looking at your CONNECT account and see weeks change from 'Pending' to 'Payable,' that's a very good sign. Once they show as 'Payable,' the money has been approved and is in the processing queue for direct deposit or Way2Go card loading. At that point, you can typically expect funds within 1-2 business days. Also, when I went through this last year, the weeks didn't all change status at the same time - they processed in batches of 2-3 weeks at a time.

Just checked and 2 of my weeks now say 'Payable' but the other 5 still say 'Pending'! Progress! Thanks for helping me understand what I'm looking at. The DEO website is so confusing.

Update us when you get your payment! It helps others to know current processing times. DEO timeframes can vary significantly depending on their current workload and staffing levels.

Will do! Just got more progress - now 5 weeks show 'Payable' and 2 are still 'Pending'. Hoping for payment by Friday!
