DEO 1099-G form delays? Can't access online through CONNECT mobile

Has anybody actually received their 1099-G from DEO in the mail yet? According to their message, they supposedly mailed them out last week, but I haven't seen anything in my mailbox. I need to file my taxes ASAP because I'm expecting a decent refund to cover some bills. I've tried logging into CONNECT on my phone to download the form directly, but the mobile interface is a nightmare - can't figure out how to navigate to the tax documents section. Does anyone know if there's a specific way to access and download the 1099-G from your phone? Or should I just keep waiting for the mail? Really don't want to have to drive to the library just to use a computer for this one thing.

They're ALWAYS late with these! Last year my 1099-G didn't arrive until February 10th, and I called 57 times trying to get through to someone. DEO is the absolute WORST about tax forms. My neighbor finally got hers yesterday, so they are slowly coming. The mail system in FL is a joke too.

Ugh, February 10th?? I can't wait that long. Did you ever figure out how to pull it up online instead?

You can definitely access your 1099-G online through CONNECT. Here's how to do it on mobile: 1. Log into your CONNECT account 2. Tap on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left 3. Select "Claimant Services" 4. Scroll down and tap on "View and Maintain Account Information" 5. Look for the "1099-G" option 6. Select the tax year you need The mobile interface isn't great but this should work. If you're still having trouble, try requesting the desktop version of the site through your phone's browser settings. Hope this helps!

Thank you! I'll try this right now. The mobile interface is so frustrating, I kept getting stuck after the login screen.

I've been trying to get my 1099-G for THREE WEEKS!!! The CONNECT website keeps timing out whenever I try to download it and calling DEO is IMPOSSIBLE! I've tried calling at 7:30am when they open and still can't get through - just endless busy signals or it hangs up on me after 45 minutes on hold. This is RIDICULOUS! I need to file my taxes and they're making it impossible!!!

I had the same problem last month trying to resolve an issue with my benefits. After days of frustration, I found this service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) that got me through to a DEO agent in about 20 minutes instead of spending hours calling and getting disconnected. They have a video showing how it works here: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj. Seriously saved me so much headache when I needed to get my account unlocked.

If you're having trouble accessing your 1099-G, keep in mind that Florida DEO is required by law to mail these forms by January 31st, but they often send them in batches throughout January. Most claimants should receive them by mid-February at the latest. For those having trouble with the mobile interface, requesting the desktop version of the CONNECT site does work better. Also, if you received unemployment benefits in multiple years, make sure you're selecting the correct tax year when searching for your form. If you still don't receive your 1099-G by February 15th, you should contact the DEO directly as there might be an issue with your mailing address in their system.

Update: I managed to download my 1099-G using the desktop version on my phone like you all suggested! For anyone else struggling, when you request desktop mode in your browser settings it makes a HUGE difference. The mobile version is completely useless but the desktop version shows all the menu options. Found my form under Claimant Services > View and Maintain Account Information > Income Tax Withholding > View 1099G. Thanks everyone for your help!

Thanks for sharing! The DEO website is SUCH a mess. They should just create a proper mobile app already instead of that ancient system. It's 2025 for crying out loud!!!

Glad you got it working! Just a heads-up for everyone: make sure the mailing address in your CONNECT account is current. DEO won't forward 1099-G forms to a new address for privacy reasons, so if you've moved recently, your form might get returned to them. You can update your address through your CONNECT account under the personal information section.
