EDD 1099G tax form missing from UI Online account - anyone receive theirs yet?
I've been checking my UI Online account daily for the past week looking for my 1099G tax form from EDD, but it's still not showing up. The EDD website says they're supposed to be available by January 31st, and it's already February 8th. I need to file my taxes soon and don't want to wait for a paper copy in the mail (which could take weeks). Has anyone successfully accessed their 1099G online yet? Is there a special place I need to look besides the 'Form 1099G' section? Getting really worried since my tax appointment is coming up next week!

•Did you try calling the specific 1099G hotline? I think there's a different number just for tax form issues.

The 1099G forms are being delayed this year due to some system updates. EDD announced they might not all be available until mid-February, despite the January 31 deadline. You can request a duplicate through the automated phone system at 1-866-333-4606, or by calling the regular EDD number (which is admittedly difficult to get through). If you received benefits in 2024, you should also check if you set your preferences to electronic delivery or paper mail when you first applied.

THEY DO THIS EVERY YEAR!!! I swear EDD intentionally makes this difficult. Last year my 1099G had the wrong amount and I had to fight for MONTHS to get it corrected. Then they sent me a letter saying I was overpaid? Make sure you double-check all the numbers when you finally get it. The total should match what you actually received after taxes were withheld. DON'T TRUST THEIR MATH!!

•Yes finally got it fixed but only after calling like 50 times! The difference was over $2000 which would have really messed up my taxes. Check your payment history in UI Online and add it up yourself to be sure.

I had the same issue and solved it this morning. You need to log into UI Online, go to the 'History' tab, then look for a tiny link at the bottom that says '1099G Forms'. That takes you to a different page where you can access tax forms from previous years. For some reason, the 2024 forms (for benefits received in 2023) just became available yesterday for many accounts, even though some people had access earlier. The system seems to be updating in batches.

I was going crazy trying to get through to EDD about this same issue! After 3 days of constant busy signals, I used Claimyr (claimyr.com) to connect with an EDD rep in about 20 minutes. They explained that 1099Gs are being released in phases this year, and I was able to request mine specifically. The rep processed it while I was on the phone and it showed up in my UI Online account within an hour. •Just checked again and FINALLY it's there! Thanks everyone for your help. For anyone else looking, it did eventually show up under the History tab, then 1099G Forms link at the bottom of the page.
