Anyone else STILL waiting for DEO direct deposits from last week?
I filed my claim weeks last Tuesday and my DEO CONNECT account shows payment status as 'processed' since Friday, but the money still hasn't hit my bank account. Usually takes 1-2 business days max. It's been 4 business days now and nothing! My rent is due tomorrow and I'm seriously stressing. Anyone else experiencing delays with direct deposits recently? Is this normal or should I be calling DEO? My claim isn't under adjudication or anything - just a regular biweekly payment that's mysteriously MIA. Starting to worry something's wrong with my banking info...

This happened to me last month. The system showed 'processed' for almost a week before the money actually hit my account. DEO seems to be having some payment processing delays lately. If your CONNECT account shows processed, it's probably just stuck in their system backlog. I'd give it another day or two before panicking.

•Thanks for the reassurance! Did you ever find out what caused the delay? I'm just worried because I've never had it take this long before.

There was a notice posted on the CONNECT homepage last week about a system maintenance that could cause payment delays of 3-5 business days. They're upgrading something in their payment processing system. I took a screenshot but can't figure out how to post it here. Check the announcements section when you log in - it should still be there.

•I completely missed that notice! Just logged in and checked - you're right, it's there. Says "Temporary payment processing delays possible through March 15." That explains it. Guess I need to be more observant.

My sister went through this exact same thing!!!!! She waited 9 DAYS for her deposit after it said processed!!!!! DEO is USELESS and they don't care if we can't pay our bills!!!! The whole system is designed to FRUSTRATE people so they give up!!!

•While delays are certainly frustrating, the system isn't designed to make people give up. The current delays are related to a documented system upgrade that was announced in advance. They're actually trying to improve the payment system for faster processing in the future.

Just to be safe, I'd recommend making sure your banking information is correct in your CONNECT profile. Sometimes people forget they updated their bank account info or don't realize there was an error. Also, check that your Way2Go card isn't activated if you opted for direct deposit - the system sometimes defaults back to the card if there are any banking verification issues. If the payment doesn't arrive by tomorrow, I'd try calling DEO directly to check on the status. Getting through to them is difficult, but I used Claimyr (claimyr.com) last month when I had a payment issue and they got me connected to a DEO agent in about 20 minutes instead of spending hours redialing. They have a video demo showing how it works: https://youtu.be/UzW_hbUy-ss?si=zORd51jeq1GX5Ldj

•I double-checked my banking info and everything looks correct. I don't have a Way2Go card activated, so that shouldn't be the issue. If it doesn't show up by tomorrow afternoon, I'll try Claimyr - spending hours on hold isn't an option with my work schedule. Thanks for the suggestion!

when mine was late i checked the payment status on CONNECT and it said processed but when i clicked on the transaction details it said something about ACH return or something??? had to call them and update my bank info even tho nothing changed with my account. might be worth checking the detailed view not just the main payment screen

•That's a good tip! I just checked the transaction details and it doesn't show any errors - just says "Direct Deposit" with my bank info (last 4 digits match my account). At least that's something!

I work at a bank (not identifying which one for privacy), and I can tell you that there's often a delay between when government systems mark payments as "processed" and when they actually initiate the ACH transfer. Then there's additional processing time at the receiving bank. If DEO marked it processed on Friday, they might not have actually sent the ACH file until Monday, which means many banks wouldn't post it until Wednesday or Thursday. Each bank has different ACH processing schedules. I know it's stressful when you're counting on that money, but based on the timing you described, I wouldn't consider this unusual yet.

•Thank you for explaining the banking side! That makes sense. I guess I'm just used to a more consistent timeline with my deposits. I'll try to be patient for another day or two before taking further action.

Just checking back - did your payment ever arrive? Mine finally came through this morning, so hopefully yours did too!

•YES! Just checked my account after seeing your comment and it's there! What a relief. Thanks everyone for the advice and support. Definitely seems like DEO is having some temporary delays with their payment processing.
