It could mean a number of things: may think you are not searching or accepting suitable work, your past employer denied your claim, or because made a mistake with your claim.

Could be this…if the last time you was over a month ago, your wouldn’t be renewed. You must every two weeks.

So is it possible that i can redo the or the application is just disqualified. My question is what can i do to receive my payments

Yes I am sure if you had an active before and you had issues, you can restart the claim. You will need to provide more information showing you have made progress in your work search and proof of income, but since you’re in the talking to an may just get you back up and being paid again.

I'm dealing with a similar issue and it's been really frustrating. From what I've learned, disqualified weeks usually happen when there's an issue with your answers or if needs to review something about your eligibility. The key is to call them as soon as possible to find out exactly why you were disqualified. Sometimes it's something simple that can be fixed, like a misunderstood question on your certification. Don't give up - keep trying to reach them and document everything. Has anyone had success getting their disqualified weeks reversed?

I went through the same thing last year - disqualified weeks are really stressful! In my case, it turned out flagged my because I answered one of the questions incorrectly about being available for work. I had to call multiple times (the wait was brutal) but once I got through to a representative, they were able to review my case and reverse the disqualification. The key is being persistent with calling and having all your documentation ready. Also, make sure you keep certifying for new weeks even while the disqualified ones are under review - don't let your go inactive. It took about 3 weeks total to get it resolved, but I did receive back pay for those disqualified weeks. Hang in there!

@Tyler Lefleur That s'really helpful to know! I m'dealing with a similar situation right now and it s'been so stressful not knowing what s'going on. How many times did you have to call before you got through to someone? And when you say keep certifying for new weeks - does that mean even if it shows disqualified, you should still do your biweekly certifications? I m'worried about making things worse by continuing to while there s'an issue under review.

@Eduardo Silva Yes, definitely keep certifying for new weeks even while dealing with disqualified ones! I made that mistake early on and almost lost my entire because I thought I should stop. The treats them separately - the disqualified weeks are under review, but you still need to maintain your ongoing status. As for calling, it took me probably 15-20 attempts over several days to get through. I found calling right when they opened 8am (gave) me the best chance. Also, when you do get through, ask them to put notes on your account about what you discussed - it helps if you have to call back later. The waiting is awful but don t'give up!

I'm going through the exact same thing right now and it's been such a nightmare! My weeks got disqualified after I in early August and I've been trying to figure out what went wrong. From reading everyone's responses here, it sounds like the most important thing is to keep calling until you can speak with someone directly. I've tried the callback but haven't had much luck yet. @Tom Maxon thanks for sharing those video links - I'm going to try those methods to get through to a human. Has anyone else had success with the callback option or is calling directly still the best way? Also really appreciate hearing that people have gotten their disqualified weeks reversed - gives me hope that this can be fixed!

@Mei Lin I m'in a similar boat and just wanted to share what worked for me recently. I had better luck with the direct calling method rather than the callback - the callbacks were taking forever and sometimes never came through. Try calling the main number 1-800-300-5616 (right) at 8am when they open and use the menu options 1-2-1 to get to the unemployment department. It usually takes multiple attempts but I found Tuesday through Thursday mornings had better success rates. Also, make sure you have your SSN, details, and any documentation ready before you call so you don t'waste time once you get through. The wait times are brutal but it s'worth it to get answers about those disqualified weeks. Keep us posted on how it goes!
