MoneyNetwork card deposit issues - stuck in pending for 2 weeks!
I certified for my EDD benefits over two weeks ago and my payment status shows 'PAID' in the UI Online portal, but the money hasn't hit my MoneyNetwork card yet! This is the third payment cycle in a row where I've had issues. I've tried calling the MoneyNetwork customer service number on the back of the card, but after waiting for 45+ minutes I just get disconnected. Has anyone else experienced delays with MoneyNetwork deposits recently? My rent is due in 3 days and I'm starting to panic. Do I need to contact EDD directly about this or stay patient with MoneyNetwork? I can't afford another late fee from my landlord.

THE SAME THING IS HAPPENING TO MEEE!! Been waiting 9 days now and my payment shows PAID but nothing on my Money Network card. I called EDD and they just said 'it's been processed on our end, contact Money Network' and then Money Network just has me on hold FOREVER. This is ridiculous! My car payment already bounced.

•Did you try checking your transaction history on the Money Network mobile app? Sometimes the website doesn't update as quickly. Though in my case neither is showing anything...

have you tried checking if your address is correct on the moneynetwork profile? my cousin had this problem bc they sent a new card to his old address but the money was still being deposited. might wanna double check that info

•My address is definitely correct - I've been getting mail from them at this address for months. The weird thing is the UI Online says PAID but MoneyNetwork shows nothing in pending or processed transactions.

I had a similar issue last month. What fixed it for me was verifying my identity again through the Money Network app. Sometimes their security system flags accounts and holds deposits if there's been any unusual activity (even something as simple as logging in from a new device). Check if there's any notification in your Money Network account or try updating the app. If that doesn't work, you might have to keep trying to reach customer service.

•Thanks for the suggestion! I just checked and there's no notification about verifying my identity, but I'll try updating the app. Did you have to wait long after verifying before your funds appeared?

•The funds showed up about 24 hours after I completed the verification. If you don't see a notification in the app, you might try logging into the Money Network website from a computer instead - sometimes the full website shows notifications that the app doesn't. Good luck!

After dealing with EDD payment delays for months, I finally managed to get through to a real person who fixed my Money Network issues. I used Claimyr to bypass the EDD phone queue (claimyr.com) - they connected me to an EDD agent in about 20 minutes. The agent was able to see that there was a system flag on my account causing the delay, and they removed it while I was on the phone. My payment posted to my Money Network card the next day. They have a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/JmuwXR7HA10?si=TSwYbu_GOwYzt9km. Honestly worth it after spending days trying to get through on my own.

•Does this actually work? I've been trying to call EDD for three days straight with no luck.

•Yeah, it worked for me. I was skeptical too but after wasting hours redialing EDD myself it was the only way I finally got through. The EDD agent told me there was a payment transfer issue between EDD and Money Network that needed manual override.

i think theres a big delay with moneynetwork right now cause my sister and her boyfriend both having same issue. she called moneynetwork like 6 times and finally got someone who said theres a processing backlog and payments might take up to 3 weeks even if it says PAID on edd side. total bs if u ask me

This happens because Money Network and EDD have separate systems that don't always communicate well. EDD marks it PAID when they release the funds, but Money Network has its own processing time. Here's what to do: 1. Check if you've received any emails from Money Network about security verification (check spam folder) 2. Try logging into your Money Network account via their website (not mobile app) 3. Call Money Network early in the morning (right when they open) or late evening (right before closing) to avoid peak wait times 4. If you can't reach Money Network after 3 days, contact EDD directly as they can submit an inquiry on your behalf If EDD shows PAID status for more than 5 business days with no Money Network update, it could indicate a system error that only EDD can fix, not Money Network.

•Thank you for the detailed advice! I've tried steps 1-3 already with no luck. I'll give EDD a call tomorrow morning. Do you know which specific number is best for payment transfer issues?

•The regular EDD customer service line (1-800-300-5616) is your best bet, but specify that it's a payment transfer issue, not a claim issue. That way they'll route you to the right department. Have your EDD account number, last payment date, and Money Network card info ready when you call. Good luck!

•I tried calling at 8:01 am yesterday and still couldn't get through - it said they were experiencing high call volume and to try again later. So frustrating!

Just following up - were you able to resolve this? I ran into a similar issue again this month and discovered something important: sometimes Money Network holds funds if you haven't been using the card regularly. They consider it a security measure, but it's really annoying. If that's the case, once you get through to them, ask specifically about security holds on your account.

•Update: I finally got this resolved! You were right about the security hold. I managed to speak with a Money Network rep who confirmed my account had a fraud prevention hold because I hadn't used the card in over 30 days (I was using direct deposit before but switched back to the card). They released the funds and now I've got access to all the backed-up payments. Thanks everyone for your help!
