EDD payment shows paid but Money Network card still empty after 5 days - help!
I'm so frustrated right now. My EDD claim shows that my payment was issued on 4/30, but it's been 5 days and nothing has shown up on my Money Network card yet! I've checked the balance online and through the app multiple times daily, and still nothing. My rent is already late and my landlord is getting impatient. Has anyone else experienced delays between EDD showing 'paid' and the funds actually appearing on their Money Network card? Is there a specific number I should call to track this down? The regular EDD line is impossible to get through and the Money Network customer service keeps telling me to contact EDD. Caught in a loop here and running out of options.

same thing happend to me last month, took almost 7 days to show up on my card. EDD system shows paid but MN takes forever to process sometimes!!

Check if your Money Network card is actually activated properly. Sometimes people think their card is ready but missed a step in the activation process. Also, make sure your mailing address is correct in both EDD and Money Network systems - they don't automatically sync up. If the payment was issued but not received, you might need to check if there's a hold on your card for some reason.

Ugh the EDD/Money Network combo is THE WORST!!! I had this happen THREE TIMES last year. They blamed each other and I was stuck in the middle with no $$$. Sometimes I think they do this on purpose to save interest or something 🤬

I spent 3 hours today trying to reach someone at EDD about this exact same issue! My payment from 5/1 still hasn't hit my MN card. When I finally got through to Money Network they said they don't even see the transfer from EDD yet, so it's definitely on EDD's side. So frustrating that there's no way to talk to a human being about this.

have u tryied checking ur account on the EDD webiste? sometimes it says paid but also has a message about why theres a hold. might be under notifications or messages section. my cousin had similar probem and there was actually a eligibility interview scheduled that he didnt know about.

This happens when there's a transfer issue between EDD and Money Network. From my experience working with multiple claims, you need to call EDD directly and ask them to check the "payment transfer status" - this is different from just the payment status. If a payment shows as issued but hasn't arrived after 3+ business days, it could be: 1. A technical issue with the transfer file that EDD sends to Money Network 2. A hold on your Money Network account (which MN may not tell you about) 3. A verification flag on the EDD side that wasn't properly communicated Business days matter here - if 4/30 was a Tuesday, and today is Sunday 5/5, that's only 3 business days. If it doesn't arrive by Monday afternoon, definitely escalate this.
