EDD account locked - can't certify for benefits this week. Help!

Ugh, that sucks. I've been there before. Have you tried calling the EDD? Sometimes they can unlock it over the phone if you verify your identity.

Check your email and mail. They usually send something explaining why it was locked and what steps to take next.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Check your email and physical mail for any notices from EDD 2. Try logging in on a different device or browser 3. If that doesn't work, call EDD at 1-800-300-5616 4. Be prepared to verify your identity (SSN, drivers license, etc) 5. If you can't get through on the phone, try visiting an EDD office in person 6. Have you checked if there's any identity verification issues? That's what caused my account to get locked last year.

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was suspicious activity on my account. Had to jump through hoops to prove it was me. Keep trying to call, its your best bet.
