I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site called claimyr.com. It's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then connects you when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it worked for me. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

Have you tried reaching out to your local assembly member's office? They can sometimes help push things through with EDD. Worth a shot!

Has anyone else noticed that the fax number sometimes just... doesn't work? Like, it'll ring forever or give a busy signal. I swear they turn it off to avoid getting more documents 🙄

Quick question - when you faxed your docs, did you include your claim number on every page? I've heard that can help prevent them from 'losing' your stuff.

Guys I finaly got through on the phone after trying for WEEKS. heres what I did: 1. Call exactly at 8:01 am 2. Press 1 for English (or 2 for Spanish) 3. Then 1 for claim questions 4. Then 2 for employer 5. THEN 4 for general info Somehow this got me to a real person in like 20 minutes! no idea why but it worked 🤷‍♂️
