PFLA benefit payment delay - filed over a month ago, no updates or responses. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm really frustrated. I filed for PFLA benefits over a month ago and still haven't received any payment. I've been checking online every day and calling constantly, but I can't get through to anyone. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on what to do or say when I finally get someone on the line?

Here's what worked for me: 1. Keep all your documentation organized 2. Call first thing in the morning, right when they open 3. Be polite but firm with the rep 4. Ask for a supervisor if you're not getting anywhere 5. Follow up with an email after the call to create a paper trail It took me a few tries, but I finally got my issue resolved. Don't give up!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Pro tip: if you can, fax your documents instead of mailing them. Seems to go through faster for some reason. Also, keep calling different numbers until you get a helpful rep. Some are WAY more knowledgeable than others.
