PFL claim stuck in pending for weeks after corrections - need advice!

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a frustrating situation. My paid family leave claim has been stuck in pending processing for weeks now. I had to make some corrections on my claim and I'm planning to resubmit it. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to speed up the process or get in touch with someone who can help?

Ugh, I feel your pain! I was in the same boat a few months ago. It's like they purposely make it difficult to get anything done. Have you tried calling them directly? It's a nightmare, but sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

I've been trying to call, but it's impossible to get through. It's so frustrating! šŸ˜¤

Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.

Good idea! I'll give that a shot tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed šŸ¤ž

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

Is it legit? $20 seems steep for just a phone call.

I was skeptical at first too, but it really did work for me. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

Here's what I've learned from my experience with paid family leave claims: ā€¢ Double-check all your information before submitting. Even small errors can cause major delays. ā€¢ Keep copies of EVERYTHING you submit. ā€¢ If you made corrections, call and ask if they need any additional documentation. ā€¢ Be persistent. Sometimes you have to be the squeaky wheel to get the grease. ā€¢ Check your online account regularly for updates or requests for more info. ā€¢ If all else fails, contact your local representative's office. They can sometimes help expedite things. Hope this helps! Hang in there, OP. The system is a mess, but you'll get through it eventually.

I swear, dealing with bureaucracy is like playing a game where the rules keep changing and no one tells you šŸ¤” Good luck, OP!

Has anyone heard about recent changes to the paid family leave process? I thought they were supposed to be streamlining things, but it seems worse than ever.

I read something about new software being implemented, but who knows if that's actually helping or just causing more problems šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

My claim was stuck for 3 months! I finally got it resolved by going to my state representative's office. They have liaisons who can cut through the red tape. Might be worth a shot if nothing else works.
