I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Have you tried checking your status online? Sometimes they update the website before they can get back to you on the phone.

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling your local office directly. They might be able to help or at least give you more info on your claim status.

Has anyone tried faxing their documents instead of mailing them? I heard it might be faster but idk if that's just an urban legend at this point 🤔

Just a heads up, they recently changed some policies regarding documentation for PFL claims. Make sure you have the most up-to-date forms!
