PFL claim status check - tips for getting through on the phone?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to check on the status of my paid family leave claim. Has anyone had any luck getting through to someone on the phone? I've been trying for days and keep getting stuck on hold. Any tips or tricks would be appreciated!

I found a way to solve paid family leave claim delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuBr0B1PD8g

Ugh, I feel your pain! I was in the same boat last month. It's like they don't want us to actually get our benefits šŸ™„ Have you tried calling right when they open? That seemed to work for me after a few attempts.

Calling when they open is hit or miss for me. Sometimes I get through, other times it's just as bad 😫

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous, we shouldn't have to pay for basic customer service!

I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imho.

How long did you have to wait after using the service?

It took about 45 minutes, but I didn't have to actively wait on hold. They called me when an agent was ready.

Have you tried checking your status online? Sometimes they update the website before they can get back to you on the phone.

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling your local office directly. They might be able to help or at least give you more info on your claim status.

I've been dealing with PFL for months now, and here's what I've learned: • Persistence is key. Keep calling, even if it feels hopeless. • Document EVERYTHING. Every call, every letter, every interaction. • If you can, use the online portal to submit any additional documents they might need. • Consider reaching out to your state representative's office. They can sometimes expedite things. • Join Facebook groups or other online communities for support and up-to-date info. • If all else fails, consider filing a complaint with the state labor board. Hang in there, OP. The system is frustrating, but don't give up!

Has anyone tried faxing their documents instead of mailing them? I heard it might be faster but idk if that's just an urban legend at this point šŸ¤”

Just a heads up, they recently changed some policies regarding documentation for PFL claims. Make sure you have the most up-to-date forms!

Check the official PFL website. They should have a section for recent updates or form downloads.
