EDD system update causing claim visibility issues - anyone else?

Hey everyone, I'm having issues with my unemployment benefits. The system went live on Monday, but problems started showing up on Tuesday. Apparently, their system doesn't update until noon, so the new system changes didn't hit until Tuesday. By Wednesday, they couldn't even see my claim! Anyone else dealing with this mess? Any advice on how to get through to someone who can actually help?

I found a way to solve unemployment benefits system issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1LIlr90r6k

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Been trying to get through for days now. It's like they purposely make it impossible to talk to a real person. 🤬

Tell me about it! I've been calling non-stop for a week. My fingers are gonna fall off from all this dialing. 😫

Have you guys tried calling right when they open? I heard that's the best time to get through.

Tried that. No luck. It's like playing the lottery, except the prize is just talking to someone who probably can't help anyway. 🎰🙄

I actually found a way to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit?

Yeah, I was skeptical at first too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of frustration.

20 bucks tho? That's kinda steep just to talk to someone...

I get it, but for me, it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting so much time trying to get through on my own.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this for months: 1. Be persistent. Keep calling, even if it seems hopeless. 2. Document everything. Write down who you talk to, when, and what they say. 3. Try different times of day. Sometimes early morning or late afternoon can be less busy. 4. Use social media. Sometimes tweeting at them can get a response. 5. Contact your local representative. They might be able to help push things along. Hang in there, everyone. This system is a nightmare, but we'll get through it. 💪

This is gold! Thanks for sharing your experience. Gonna try the social media route tomorrow.

Contacting my rep actually worked for me! Took a while, but they eventually helped sort out my issue.

Has anyone else noticed that the website is always "undergoing maintenance" when you actually need to use it? It's like they're trolling us at this point. 🤡

I'm starting to think carrier pigeons would be more reliable than this system. Maybe we should all invest in some birds? 🐦📬

LOL im ded 💀 But for real, might be faster than waiting for them to pick up the phone

Serious question: has anyone actually received their benefits on time recently? Starting to feel like I'm the only one...

Nope, you're definitely not alone. Mine have been delayed for weeks now.

I got mine, but only after calling every day for two weeks straight. It's ridiculous.

Pro tip: if you press 0 repeatedly during the automated menu, sometimes it'll bump you to a real person. Doesn't always work, but worth a shot!

OMG thank you! Gonna try this tomorrow. You're a lifesaver! 🙏

Anyone else feel like they need a degree in computer science just to navigate the unemployment website? It's like they designed it to be as confusing as possible. 🤔💻

I swear, dealing with this system is aging me faster than my actual job did. Pretty soon I'll be eligible for retirement benefits instead of unemployment! 👴👵

LMAO same here. My hair's gone grey just from being on hold. 😂

Ugh, yes! I'm dealing with the exact same thing. My claim just vanished from the system after their "update" and now when I call, they act like I never even filed. It's beyond frustrating. I've been trying the callback feature but it just says "high call volume" and hangs up on me. Has anyone had luck with the online chat feature, or is that just as useless as the phone system? Starting to wonder if I should just camp out at the local office at this point... 😤
