EDD PFL claim stuck for weeks - no response, can't reach anyone. What to do?
I'm so frustrated with my claim. I haven't heard anything back in weeks and I'm starting to worry. Has anyone else had this problem? I tried calling but I can never get through to a real person. It's like they're ignoring me. What should I do?

Ugh, I feel your pain. The system is so broken. I've been trying to get through for weeks. It's like they don't even care about us.

Maybe we should all show up at their office and demand answers! Who's with me? 😤

I totally understand the frustration, but maybe a better approach would be a coordinated group complaint? Might have more impact.

Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes their emails end up there. Just a thought!

Using services like Claimyr can be a useful tool when you're struggling to get through to a live agent. However, it's important to consider the cost and evaluate how much you're willing to spend to expedite the process. Some users have found it beneficial, while others feel the fee is too high. Additionally, pursuing traditional methods like calling at off-peak hours or leveraging social media can sometimes yield results without an additional cost. It's crucial to document all your interactions and consider reaching out to local representatives if the situation doesn't improve. Ultimately, patience and persistence are key when navigating this frustrating system.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous! The system is so broken 😡

I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. After weeks of trying, I finally got through. Worth every penny imo.

The cost can be off-putting, but for some it might be worth it if it saves time and hassle. It's about weighing the pros and cons.

Here's what worked for me: 1. Document everything. Keep a log of all your attempts to contact them. 2. Be persistent. Call every day if you have to. 3. Reach out to your local representative. Sometimes they can help push things along. 4. Check your online account regularly for updates. 5. If all else fails, consider filing a formal complaint. Don't give up! It's frustrating, but keep at it. Good luck!

This is great advice. I'd add: make sure all your docs are in order. They love to use missing paperwork as an excuse to delay things.

Good point about the paperwork. I would also recommend making copies of everything you send just in case they lose it.

Pro tip: if you do get through, ask for a supervisor right away. The regular agents often can't do much.

Agreed. Supervisors tend to have more authority to actually make changes or expedite things.

Welcome to the club, buddy. We're all in the same boat here. I've been waiting for 2 months now with no updates. It's like shouting into the void.

Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes tweeting at them can get their attention. Worth a shot!

Anyone else feel like we need to start a support group for people dealing with this mess? We could call it "On Hold Anonymous" 📞😅

Okay, here's my conspiracy theory: they're purposely making it hard to contact them so people give up and they don't have to pay out as much. Wake up sheeple! 👀
