Stuck with unresolved claim issue, no callback from agency. Help!

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my claim and I'm not sure what to do. I've been waiting for a call back but haven't heard anything yet. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to get through to someone or what I should do next? I'm starting to get worried about my claim status.

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been dealing with claim issues for weeks now. It's like they don't even want to help us! Have you tried calling them directly? Sometimes that works better than waiting for a callback.

I've tried calling but I just get stuck on hold forever. It's so frustrating! 😤

Same here. I once waited on hold for 3 hours and then got disconnected. This system is a joke!

Yep, sounds about right. It's like they're purposely making it difficult for us. Hang in there, OP!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site called claimyr.com. It's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to your phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/MCgaMJPY8Us

Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit?

I was skeptical at first too, but I tried it and it actually worked! Saved me hours of frustration.

I get it, but for me it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting so much time trying to get through on my own.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update info there without actually contacting you. Worth a shot!

I've been in the same boat, friend. Here's what I've learned after dealing with this mess for months: • Keep a record of all your attempts to contact them (dates, times, outcomes) • Check your spam folder regularly - sometimes important emails end up there • If possible, try to visit a local office in person • Reach out to your local representative or ombudsman - they can sometimes help push things along • Join Facebook groups or other online communities specific to your state's unemployment system - you can often get good tips and updates there Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up! The system is broken, but you gotta keep fighting. Good luck!

Have you tried reaching out on social media? Sometimes tweeting at them or messaging on Facebook can get a response. Worth a shot!

I hadn't thought of that! I'll give it a try, thanks for the suggestion.

Guys, I think I figured out a hack. If you call exactly at 7:59 AM and press 2, then 1, then 4, you might get through to a real person. Worked for me last week!

For real? Gonna try this tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed! šŸ¤ž

I tried something similar but no luck. Maybe it depends on your local office?

This whole situation is rediculous. We pay into the system our whole lives and when we need help they treat us like this? Something needs to change.

Hey OP, what exactly is the issue with your claim? Sometimes the solution depends on the specific problem you're having.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. That's part of why I'm so frustrated - I can't even get clear info on what's wrong or how to fix it.

Oof, that's rough. Definitely try to get someone on the phone then. You need more details before you can even start addressing the problem.

I'm going through something similar right now - been waiting weeks for any kind of update! One thing that helped me was documenting everything in a spreadsheet (dates I called, reference numbers, who I spoke with if anyone). Also, if you haven't already, try calling right when they open at 8 AM - seems like that's when you have the best shot at getting through. The whole system is so broken, but don't give up! We're all in this together and rooting for you to get it resolved soon. šŸ’Ŗ

Thanks so much for the encouragement and advice! The spreadsheet idea is brilliant - I should definitely start tracking all my attempts better. I'll try calling right at 8 AM tomorrow and see if that helps. It's really comforting to know I'm not alone in this struggle. Appreciate you taking the time to share your tips! šŸ™

I'm dealing with the exact same frustrating situation! Been waiting over a month for any kind of response from them. What's really helped me is calling multiple times throughout the day - I've noticed that around 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM seem to have shorter wait times. Also, if you have any documentation related to your claim (emails, letters, etc.), make sure to have all of that ready when you do get through to someone. The representatives can usually resolve things faster if you have all your info organized. Don't lose hope - I know it's incredibly stressful when your livelihood is on the line, but persistence really does pay off with these agencies. Sending you good vibes that you get through soon! šŸ¤ž
