Quick question - how long did it take for y'all to get your first payment after your claim was approved? I'm going on week 3 and still nothing...
I'm convinced they're just sitting on a pile of our claims, laughing at us struggling to pay bills. The whole system needs an overhaul.
Has anyone tried going to the local EDD office in person? I've heard mixed things, but I'm getting desperate enough to try anything at this point.
Anyone else notice that it seems to go faster if you have a corporate job vs. being self-employed or working for a small business? Or is that just my imagination?
Anyone else notice how they always seem to lose the faxed documents? I've had to resend mine like 3 times now 🙄

I had a similar issue last month. Turns out, I needed to clear my browser cache and cookies. After that, the option to update payment info magically appeared. Might be worth a shot!
