PFL claim filed 8+ weeks ago, no response from EDD. When to expect first payment?
Hey everyone, I filed for PFL over 8 weeks ago and still haven't heard anything back from EDD. I'm getting worried because I haven't received any payments yet. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get the first check? I'm wondering if I need to provide any additional information or if there's something I can do to speed up the process. It's been radio silence from their end and I'm starting to get anxious about my finances. Any advice or similar experiences would be really appreciated!

How to remove/update payment method? Need help ASAP!
Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my payment info. I need to update or remove a payment method but I'm not sure how to go about it. Has anyone dealt with this before? Any tips on the best way to handle this?

I had a similar issue last month. Turns out, I needed to clear my browser cache and cookies. After that, the option to update payment info magically appeared. Might be worth a shot!

Here's a detailed guide on updating payment info: 1. Log into your account 2. Go to 'Account Settings' or 'Billing' 3. Look for 'Payment Methods' or 'Manage Payments' 4. Select the payment method you want to update/remove 5. Follow the prompts to edit or delete If you can't find these options, try: - Using a different browser - Clearing cache and cookies - Checking for any account restrictions If all else fails, contact customer support directly. I'm convinced they're just sitting on a pile of our claims, laughing at us struggling to pay bills. The whole system needs an overhaul.

Anyone else notice that it seems to go faster if you have a corporate job vs. being self-employed or working for a small business? Or is that just my imagination?
Omg yes! I thought I was the only one who noticed this. My partner works for a big tech company and their claim went through in like a week. Meanwhile, I'm over here twiddling my thumbs... 🙄
