Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. idk why the government cant get its act together. we're living in 2024 and they still cant figure out how to send forms on time smh

Hey OP, just a heads up - even if you don't have the form, you still need to report the income. You can use your bank statements to estimate the amount received. Better to overestimate slightly than underreport. You can always file an amended return later if needed.

Has anyone had experience with extending their PFL? I'm worried I might need more time than I initially thought...
I extended mine last year. You need to file a new claim before your current one ends. Call them ASAP to get the process started!

It's okay for super basic stuff, but anything complicated and it just tells you to call... which gets you nowhere 🙃

I work in HR and deal with this stuff all the time. Here's what you need to do: 1. Call the PFL office ASAP. The sooner you correct it, the better. 2. Have your claim number, correct start date, and any other relevant info ready. 3. Explain the situation calmly and clearly. It's a common mistake. 4. Ask them to confirm the change verbally, then request written confirmation. 5. Follow up via email or their online portal if they have one. 6. Keep all documentation related to this correction. Don't stress too much. These things happen and they're usually pretty good about fixing them. Just stay on top of it and you should be fine!
