SDI automatic payment not received - EDD account shows no updates
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my SDI automatic payment. It's not showing up in my account and I'm getting worried. Has anyone else experienced this? I checked my EDD account but there's no updates or messages about it. Any advice on what to do next?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. My payment was supposed to come through last week and still nothing. Have you tried calling them? I've been trying for days but can't get through 😤

•I haven't tried calling yet, but I'm dreading it. Heard the wait times are insane. How long have you been trying?

•Going on 3 days now. I swear, its like they dont want us to reach them. Might have to camp out by the phone all day tomorrow 🏕️📞

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 45 minutes last time. Still ridiculous, but better than nothing!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•20 bucks? Idk man, seems kinda steep just to talk to someone 🤔

•I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo

•Can confirm, I used it last month when my claim was stuck. Expensive but effective 👍

Have you checked your bank account directly? Sometimes the EDD website lags behind the actual payment. Also, make sure your claim hasn't expired - that caught me off guard once.

This happened to me last year. Turns out there was a glitch in their system and a bunch of us didn't get our payments. It took about 2 weeks to resolve, but they eventually fixed it and backpaid everyone affected. Hang in there!

•Oh man, 2 weeks? I hope it doesn't take that long this time. Did you have to do anything to get it resolved?

•Nah, they actually sent out an email once they realized the problem. Just had to sit tight. But def keep an eye on your inbox!

Okay, let me break this down for you. When SDI payments don't come through, there are a few things you can do: 1. Double-check your claim status online. Make sure it's still active and there are no pending issues. 2. Verify your payment method. If you're using direct deposit, ensure your bank info is correct. 3. Look for any correspondence from EDD. They might have sent something requiring your action. 4. If possible, submit a question through your online account. It's slow, but sometimes works. 5. As a last resort, try calling. Use the trick someone mentioned about calling right when they open. 6. If all else fails, consider contacting your local state representative. They can sometimes expedite issues with state agencies. Remember, the system is overloaded right now, so patience is key. Document everything and keep trying. Good luck!

Have you tried turning it off and on again? 😂 jk jk... but seriously, sometimes logging out and back in to your EDD account can refresh things. Worth a shot!
