Late EDD certification - Will my payment be delayed? Need advice ASAP!
Hey everyone, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I submitted my certification late and now I'm worried about my payment being delayed. Has anyone dealt with this before? I really need the money and I'm not sure what to do. Any advice on how to make sure they process it quickly?

Ugh, been there done that. It's such a pain when you miss the deadline. Here's what I did: - Call EDD first thing in the morning - Explain your situation calmly - Ask if there's anything you can do to speed up the process - Get the name of the person you talked to - Follow up with an email summarizing the call It worked for me and I got my payment within a week. Yo, I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Word of advice: document EVERYTHING. Every call, every email, every piece of mail. You never know when you might need to prove you've been trying to resolve the issue. It's saved my butt more than once!
