As for speeding up the payment, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there's not much you can do. The system is designed to take that long. Your best bet is to make sure all your info is correct going forward.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes you can submit corrections there without having to call. Might be worth a shot!
