EDD payment missing this week - what to do?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's so frustrating when payments don't come through on time. Have you checked your online account to see if there's any info about why it might be delayed?

This happened to me last month. Turns out there was a hold on my account because they needed additional info. Did you get any letters or emails recently?

Here's what you need to do: 1. Double-check your certification dates. Make sure you didn't miss a week. 2. Look for any pending forms or questionnaires in your online account. 3. Check if your benefit year ended. You might need to file a new claim. 4. If everything looks good, there might be a system delay. Give it 48-72 hours. 5. Still nothing? You HAVE to call. Use the trick in the comment above or keep dialing. 6. Document everything. Note who you talked to and what they said. 7. If all else fails, contact your local assembly member's office. I've been dealing with payment issues for MONTHS. It's a nightmare. I've called hundreds of times, sent emails, even went to the office in person. Nothing works. I'm at my wits end.

PSA: Always keep copies of EVERYTHING you submit to EDD. I learned this the hard way when they "lost" my documents and my payments got delayed for weeks.

OP, make sure you're not hitting your benefit cap. I freaked out when my payment didn't come, but it turned out I had just reached the maximum benefit amount. Check your total claim balance!
