EDD Payment Missing - What to Do When Your Benefit Doesn't Arrive?
Hey everyone, I'm freaking out a little bit. I didn't get my last benefit payment and I'm not sure what to do. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice on how to handle it or who to contact? I'm worried about bills piling up and I really need this money.

Ugh, I'm sorry you're dealing with this. It's so frustrating when payments don't come through. Have you tried logging into your account to see if there's any info about the missing payment?

•Yeah, I checked my account but there's nothing there about the missing payment. It just shows my last payment from two weeks ago. 😞

•That sucks. Maybe try calling them? I know it's a pain, but sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

•Ugh, I guess you're right. I'll have to set aside a whole day just to sit on hold. 🙄

This happened to me last month! It turned out there was a glitch in there system and a bunch of payments got delayed. It took about a week, but it eventually showed up. Hang in there!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/Ize0EkN4HDI

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•I was skeptical at first too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of hold time.

•20 bucks tho? That's kinda steep when were already struggling 😬

•I get it, but for me it was worth it to finally get answers. Plus, I figured I was losing more than $20 worth of time sitting on hold anyway.

Have you checked if there were any changes to your eligibility? Sometimes they require you to recertify or provide additional info, and if you miss it, they can pause your payments.

•Oh man, I didn't even think of that. I'll double check my mail and spam folder to see if I missed anything. Thanks for the tip!

The whole system is so broken. I've been dealing with payment issues for months now. It's like they want us to give up and stop claiming what we're owed. 🤬

•Have you guys tried contacting your local representatives? Sometimes they can help push things through.

Here's what I've learned from dealing with missing payments: 1. Check your account online for any notices or required actions. 2. Make sure all your certifications are up to date. 3. Double-check that your bank info hasn't changed. 4. Look for any emails or physical mail from the unemployment office. 5. If you can't find any issues, try to contact them directly. 6. Keep a record of all your attempts to resolve the issue. 7. If all else fails, consider reaching out to your local representative or ombudsman. Hope this helps! Don't give up, sometimes it just takes persistence to get things sorted out.
