EDD disability pay delayed - missing docs or ID verification issues?

Ugh, I feel your pain! I went through something similar last year. Have you tried calling them? It's a nightmare to get through, but once you do, they can usually sort it out pretty quick.

Check your online account if you haven't already. Sometimes there's a message there about what's missing or what they need from you. It's not always clear, but it's a start.

Have you checked if all your documents are up to date? Sometimes they need new copies of stuff and don't tell you. It's a total pain in the a$$.

The EDD system is such a joke. I swear they make it complicated on purpose to discourage people from claiming benefits. 🤡

If you can't get through, try the online chat feature 4. Send a message through your online account 5. If all else fails, contact your local assembly member's office. I'm in the same boat, OP. Been waiting for 6 weeks now. This system is broken af.

PSA: Always keep copies of EVERYTHING you send to EDD. They've "lost" my docs twice now. 🙄
