EDD disability check 8 days late - what to do?
My disability check is late and I'm getting worried. It was supposed to come over a week ago but still nothing. Has anyone else had this problem? What should I do?

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sometimes the checks get lost in the mail. It happened to me once. You might want to ask EDD about getting a replacement check issued.

idk if this helps but I switched to direct deposit and haven't had any issues since. Might be worth looking into for the future
