EDD Payment Letter Received - When Will I Actually Get Paid?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Got my letter weeks ago and still waiting. The suspense is killing me! 😫

Usually takes about 2-3 weeks after you get the letter, at least in my experience. But with how backed up everything is lately, who knows 🤷‍♀️

Here's what you need to know about payment timelines: • After approval, it typically takes 7-10 business days for the first payment • Subsequent payments are usually every two weeks • If you opted for direct deposit, it's faster than waiting for a check • Holidays can delay payments • Sometimes there are random delays due to system issues If it's been more than 3 weeks since you got the letter, definitely try to contact them. The online portal might have more specific info about your claim too.

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling right when they open or just before they close. Sometimes works for me!

idk if this helps but I got my payment exactly 12 days after receiving the letter. might be different for everyone tho
