Hey everyone, I'm having trouble setting up my EDD account and ID.me. Keeps giving me an error message (E324). Anyone else run into this? Any tips on how to fix it?

Ugh, ID.me is such a pain! I had similar issues. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes that helps. If not, maybe try a different browser or device.

•No prob! Hope it works for you. And @profile2, I feel ya. It's like they don't want us to get our benefits or smthn 🙄

Make sure all your documents are clear and legible. I had to retake my driver's license pic like 3 times before it worked. Also, double-check that your personal info matches exactly what's on your ID.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone about this! I used this site called claimyr.com. It's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to your phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

•I was skeptical at first too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of frustration.

•Yeah, it's not cheap, but for me it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved. Time is money, ya know?

Have you tried contacting EDD directly? Sometimes they can help with ID.me issues. It's a long shot, but worth a try if nothing else works.

•I've been trying to get through to them for days. Always busy or disconnected 😫

•Oof, that sucks. Maybe try early in the morning? I heard that's when the lines are less busy.

PSA: If anyone else is struggling with ID.me, here's a detailed guide I put together after my own nightmare experience: 1. Use Chrome or Firefox - avoid Safari or IE 2. Disable any ad blockers or VPNs 3. Use a desktop/laptop if possible, not mobile 4. Make sure your camera is working properly 5. Have all your docs ready before starting (ID, SSN, etc.) 6. Double-check all info for typos 7. If you get stuck, start over in an incognito window 8. Be patient! Sometimes the system is just slow Hope this helps someone avoid the headache I went through! 💯

•Great tips! I'd add: make sure your address matches EXACTLY what's on your ID. That tripped me up.

•Good point! Yeah, even a slight difference can cause issues. I'll update my guide. Thanks!

Anyone else think its ridiculous we have to jump through all these hoops just to get our benefits? The system is broken af 🤡

•Preach! 👏 It's like they're trying to discourage us from claiming what we're entitled to.

•Fr fr. And don't even get me started on how long it takes to actually receive the money once you're approved 🙄

I had the exact same E324 error last month! What finally worked for me was logging out of both EDD and ID.me completely, then restarting the whole process from scratch. Also make sure you're not using any browser extensions that might interfere. The incognito window trick that Juan mentioned is solid advice too. Don't give up - it took me 4 tries but I finally got through!
