E311 verification failure on EDD account - info doesn't match records. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with an E311 verification failure on my EDD account. The system says the info I provided doesn't match their records. Has anyone else dealt with this? What should I do to fix it? I've tried calling but can't get through to a real person. Any advice would be appreciated!

Ugh, I've been there. It's so frustrating when the system doesn't recognize your info. Have you double-checked all your personal details? Sometimes even a small typo can cause this issue.

•Yeah, I've gone over everything like 10 times. All my info is correct as far as I can tell. It's driving me crazy!

•Maybe try clearing your browser cache and cookies? Sometimes that can help with weird glitches on government websites. Worth a shot! 🤷♂️

I had the same problem last month. Turns out my employer had reported my SSN incorrectly. You might want to check with your last employer to make sure they submitted everything correctly.

The EDD system is such a joke. They expect us to jump through hoops just to get the benefits we're entitled to. I swear they make it difficult on purpose to discourage people from claiming. 🤬

•Preach! 🙌 The whole system needs an overhaul. It's like they're stuck in the 90s or something.

I finally found a way to get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

•Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit? Has anyone else tried it?

•I was skeptical at first too, but I can confirm it's legit. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

•20 bucks to actually talk to someone? That's highway robbery! 😤

•@profile9 I get it, but think about how much time and stress it saves. For me, it was totally worth it to finally get my issue resolved.

Here's what you need to do to resolve the E311 verification failure: 1. Double-check all your personal information for accuracy. 2. Verify your employment history dates are correct. 3. Ensure your SSN is entered correctly. 4. Check if your name matches exactly what's on your Social Security card. 5. If everything looks correct, contact your most recent employer to confirm they reported your information accurately. 6. As a last resort, you may need to visit an EDD office in person with your ID and Social Security card. If none of these steps work, you'll need to speak with an EDD representative directly. Keep trying the phone lines early in the morning or late in the afternoon when they tend to be less busy. Good luck!

I'm in the same boat, OP. Been dealing with this for weeks now. Starting to feel like I'm never gonna see that money. Anyone know if there's a way to escalate our cases?

•You could try contacting your local state representative. Sometimes they can help push things through faster.

PSA: Be careful about sharing too much personal info when trying to troubleshoot these issues online. Scammers are always looking for ways to steal identities. Stay safe out there, folks! 👀

I had a similar E311 error a few months ago and it turned out to be a mismatch with my address. Even though I had moved and updated my address with EDD online, their verification system was still using my old address from when I first filed. I had to call (took forever to get through) and specifically ask them to update the address in their verification database, not just my profile. Might be worth checking if you've moved recently or if there's any address discrepancy between what you're entering and what they have on file from previous claims or employers.
