EDD Continued Payments Delayed - Anyone Else Experiencing Issues?
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my continued payments. It's been a while since I last received one and I'm starting to get worried. Has anyone else experienced delays or problems with their payments recently? Any advice on what I should do next?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Haven't seen a payment in weeks. The system is so broken, it's ridiculous. š¤¬

ā¢Tell me about it! I've been waiting for over a month now. Starting to feel like I'm never gonna see that money.

ā¢Calling is a joke. I spent 3 hours on hold yesterday and got disconnected. š¤”

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

ā¢Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

ā¢20 bucks? Thats kinda steep for something that should be free...

ā¢I get the skepticism, but it honestly saved me so much time and frustration. Worth every penny imo.

ā¢Can you give more details about how it works? Do they guarantee you'll get through?

ā¢They don't guarantee it, but it worked for me on the first try. You just put in your number and they call you when an agent picks up. No more endless hold music! š

Here's what I've learned about continued payments after dealing with this for months: ⢠Make sure you're certifying for benefits every two weeks without fail ⢠Double-check that your contact info is up to date in the system ⢠If you've had any change in income, report it immediately ⢠Keep an eye out for any notices or requests for additional info ⢠If payments stop, there's usually a specific reason - could be identity verification, eligibility issues, or a simple glitch ⢠Document everything - dates you certified, any communications you receive, etc. If you've done all this and still no payments, you might have to bite the bullet and try to get through on the phone. It sucks, but sometimes it's the only way to resolve issues.

I swear, dealing with unemployment is a full-time job itself. The irony is killing me. š

Guys, I heard they're implementing a new system next month that's supposed to streamline everything. Might be worth waiting it out if you can?

ā¢Fair enough. My cousin works for the state (not EDD) and mentioned it. Could just be a rumor tho

Anyone else notice that payments seem to come through faster if you certify right at midnight when the system updates? Might be confirmation bias, but it's worked for me the last few times.

ā¢Interesting theory. I'll have to try that next time!
