Payment issues with EDD - anyone else stuck in limbo?

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my payments and I'm not sure what to do. Has anyone else been dealing with payment problems lately? Any advice would be really appreciated!

Ugh, I feel you. The payment system has been a total nightmare lately. I've been waiting for weeks to get my money. Have you tried calling their customer service line?

0 coins

Yeah, I've tried calling but I can never get through. It's so frustrating! 😤

Same here. I've been on hold for hours and still nothing. This is ridiculous!

Pro tip: try calling first thing in the morning when they open. Sometimes you can get through faster that way.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Wow, that sounds interesting. How long did you have to wait before they connected you?

0 coins

It took about 2 hours, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They just called me when an agent was ready.

Idk man, sounds kinda sketchy. You sure it's legit?

Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it really worked for me. Saved me a ton of time and frustration.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes there are messages or updates there about payment issues.

I've been dealing with this for months now. It's like they're purposely making it difficult for us to get our money. 🤬 The whole system needs an overhaul!

Preach! 🙌 It's a total clown show. How hard is it to just pay people what they're owed?

Here's what I've learned after dealing with payment issues for the past few months: • Double-check all your information is correct in your online account • Make sure you've submitted any required documents • Keep a record of all your communications with them • If possible, use their online messaging system for inquiries (you'll have a paper trail) • Be persistent! Sometimes it takes multiple attempts to get things resolved Hang in there, OP. I know it's frustrating, but keep at it and hopefully you'll get it sorted out soon.

Have you tried reaching out to your local representative? Sometimes they can help push things along with government agencies.
