EDD payments suddenly stopped due to website form issues - Need help!
Hey everyone, I'm having a major issue with my payments. They suddenly stopped over a month ago because of some technical problems with submitting a form on the website. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm really worried and don't know what to do next. Any advice would be appreciated!

Ugh, that sucks! I had a similar issue last year. Have you tried calling them? Sometimes thats the only way to get things sorted out.

•I've been trying to call for weeks but can never get through. It's so frustrating! 😤

•Pro tip: call right when they open. I got through after only 30 minutes on hold that way.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•I know it sounds sketchy, but I swear it worked for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

•$20 seems steep just to talk to someone. The system is so broken 🤦♂️

•Yeah, it's not cheap, but considering how much money I was missing out on, it was worth it for me.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes there are messages or requests for additional info that can hold up payments.

This happened to me too! Turns out there was a glitch in there system that was affecting a bunch of people. I had to go to my local office and get it sorted out in person. It took forever but finally got it fixed.

•Thanks for the tip! How long did you have to wait at the office?

•It was about a 3 hour wait, but honestly, it was faster than trying to get through on the phone. Bring a book! 📚

Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Keep a record of when the payments stopped, any error messages you received, and all attempts to contact them. 2. Check your online account daily for any updates or requests for information. 3. Try calling first thing in the morning, right when they open. Be persistent. 4. If calling doesn't work, go to your local office in person. Bring all relevant documentation. 5. Consider reaching out to your local representative. They sometimes can help expedite these issues. 6. If all else fails, file a formal complaint with the department. Remember, you're entitled to these benefits. Don't give up! It's a frustrating process, but keep pushing until you get what you're owed.

I went through this exact same issue earlier this year! The form submission glitch affected a lot of people. Here's what finally worked for me: I sent a secure message through my online account explaining the technical issue and included screenshots of any error messages. It took about 2 weeks, but they were able to manually process my case and backdate all the missed payments. Don't lose hope - you'll get your money! Make sure to keep trying multiple approaches at once.
