EDD Certify Process Issues - Anyone Else Struggling?
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my Certify process. I called yesterday but didn't get anything resolved. Has anyone else had issues with this lately? I'm thinking about calling again today but I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle. Any advice?

Ugh, I feel your pain. The Certify process has been a nightmare lately. I've been trying to get through for weeks now. It's like they're purposely making it difficult or something.

•Seriously! It's like they don't want us to actually get our benefits. I've been on hold for hours and still can't get anyone to help me.

•Have you guys tried certifying online? It's usually faster than calling, unless there's a specific issue with your claim.

•Yeah, I tried online but kept getting error messages. That's why I had to resort to calling 😩

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Wow, that sounds too good to be true. Does it really work? How long did you have to wait?

•Idk man, paying $20 just to talk to someone seems kinda sketchy. Shouldn't this service be free?

•I get the skepticism, but it honestly saved me so much time and frustration. I waited maybe 30 minutes total, which is way better than the hours I spent before. And yeah, it sucks to pay, but for me it was worth it to finally get my issue resolved.

Here's what I've learned about the Certify process after dealing with it for months: • Always double-check your answers before submitting • Keep a record of all your work search activities • If you make a mistake, call immediately to correct it • Use the online system whenever possible • If you must call, try early in the morning or late in the afternoon • Be patient and persistent Hope this helps someone! It's a frustrating system, but hang in there.

•Great advice! I'd add: screenshot everything. You never know when you'll need proof of what you submitted.

•It's definitely not just you. The system seems designed to be as difficult as possible. Stay strong, we're all in this together!

Has anyone else noticed that the website is down like every other day? How are we supposed to certify if we can't even access the system? 🤦♂️

•Yes! It's so frustrating when you finally have time to certify and the site is just completely down. I've started checking early in the morning around 6am - seems to be more stable then. Also heard that weekends are generally better for site uptime.

Pro tip: if you're having trouble certifying online, try using a different browser or clearing your cache. Sometimes that fixes weird glitches in the system.
