If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Hey, not sure if this helps, but I had a similar issue last month. Turns out there was a glitch in their system affecting people who filed in July. Might be worth mentioning that specifically when you talk to them.

Oh really? That's good to know. Did they fix it for you?

0 coins

Yeah, eventually. Took about 2 weeks after I finally got through to someone. Keep at it!

unpopular opinion: maybe we should all just get jobs instead of relying on the government 🤷‍♂️

Read the room, dude. Not helpful.

have u tried going to the edd office in person? sometimes face-to-face works better than phone or online

Ava Kim

just show up early! bring all ur paperwork. be prepared to wait but at least youll talk to a real person

0 coins

Visiting in person can be hit or miss, but being there physically can sometimes make a big difference. Make sure your paperwork is organized for quicker processing.

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes updates show up there before you get any other notification. Also, make sure your contact info is up to date in the system.

0 coins

Good point. People often forget to check their account or update their details, which can delay things unnecessarily.

This is why we need universal basic income. The current system is a joke and leaves people hanging when they need help the most. Vote for change, people!

Ugh, can we not make everything political? OP just needs help with their claim.

0 coins

It IS political tho. The system is broken because of policy decisions. We can't fix it without addressing that.

lol welcome to the club 🤡 edd is a joke. good luck getting any1 to help. been waiting 2 months myself 😭

I feel you. It's a tough system to navigate. Hang in there!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Check out this video: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

I get it, but when you're desperate for answers, it's a lifesaver. Better than wasting days trying to get through.

As long as it works, I guess it's worth the money if you're struggling to get paid.

PSA: If ur having trouble with EDD, contact ur local state representative! They can sometimes help speed things up.

0 coins

how do you even find out who ur rep is?

0 coins

Good idea! Politicians are more likely to act when they hear directly from constituents.

SDI is the worst! I swear they make it difficult on purpose to discourage people from claiming. Solidarity, OP. Don't give up!

Hey, former EDD employee here. While I can't comment on your specific case, I can give some general advice: 1. Make sure all your medical documentation is up to date and clearly states your limitations. 2. If you haven't already, file for a SDI appeal. This can sometimes speed up the process. 3. Be persistent but polite when dealing with staff. We're overworked and understaffed, but we do want to help. 4. If you're really stuck, consider contacting your state representative. They can sometimes cut through red tape. Good luck!

Thank you so much for the insider perspective! I'll definitely look into filing an appeal. Do you know how long that process typically takes?

0 coins

Appeal times can vary widely, but generally it takes about 30-60 days. However, sometimes just filing the appeal can prompt them to take another look at your case and resolve it faster.
