Has anyone tried reaching out on social media? I've heard some people have had luck getting responses that way.
I feel your pain, OP. I was in the same boat last month. What finally worked for me was calling exactly at 8:01 AM and using the Spanish option (even though I don't speak Spanish). Got transferred to an English-speaking rep pretty quick. Good luck!
Pro tip: If you're trying to reach a specific department, try these menu options when you call: 1. Press 1 for English 2. Press 1 for claim questions 3. Press 2 for employer questions 4. Enter your social security number 5. Press 1 to confirm This usually gets me to a human faster. Hope it helps!
Have you considered reaching out to your local assembly member's office? They often have direct lines to EDD and can help push your claim through faster. Worth a shot if you're really stuck!
Anyone else think its wild that in 2023 we still have to deal with missing forms and unclear communication from government agencies? Like, haven't they heard of email? Or apps? Or literally any modern tech? 🙄
Not yet, but I'm trying that Claimyr thing tomorrow. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Has anyone else noticed that the EDD website is always down for maintenance when you need it most? It's like they WANT us to miss our certification deadlines 🙄

•Pro tip: Try accessing the site late at night or early morning. Less traffic, fewer issues!

Guys, I'm in the same boat. Been on unemployment for 3 months now and every week is a new adventure in bureaucratic nonsense. Hang in there, we're all learning the ropes together! 💪

•No problem! We gotta stick together. This whole process is a marathon, not a sprint!
