Medi-Cal callback frustration: What to do when they don't call back?
So I finally got through to someone on the phone, but it didn't really solve my problem. They said they'd call me back, but I'm not sure if that's actually gonna happen. Has anyone else been in this situation? What should I do if they don't call back? I'm getting pretty frustrated with this whole process.

•I totally agree. The inefficiency is ridiculous, but don't lose hope!

I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's the URL: https://claimyr.com

•Sounds sketchy. Is this legit? Has anyone else tried it?

•$20 just to talk to someone? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken.

•I get the skepticism, but it's totally legit. Saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny imo.

•I tried it and got through in about 15 minutes. It was worth it for me because I needed immediate answers.

Welcome to the club, buddy. I've been waiting for a callback for weeks now. It's like they're playing some sick game of phone tag, except they never actually call. 🙄

•I'm with you on this. It's like their strategy is to wear us down until we just give up.

Have you tried calling first thing in the morning? I've had better luck getting through right when they open.

•What time do they open? I'll try anything at this point.

•They open at 8 AM in my state. Set an alarm and start dialing at 7:59! 😅

Have you tried reaching out to them on Twitter? I've seen some people get responses that way.

•Social media seems to be their Achilles' heel. Worth a shot!

Ugh, I feel your pain. I was in the same boat last month. Here's what worked for me: 1. Document everything! Write down who you talked to, when, and what they said. 2. Call back every day if you have to. Be polite but persistent. 3. Try reaching out on social media. Sometimes they respond faster there. 4. Consider contacting your local representative. They might be able to help. Don't give up! It's frustrating, but you'll get through this.

•Thanks for the advice! I'll definitely start keeping better records. How long did it take you to finally get everything sorted out?

This is why we need to overhaul the entire unemployment system. It's not designed to actually help people in need. 😤

Bruh, I swear they're using carrier pigeons to process our claims 🐦 Probably faster than whatever system they're using now lmao

Have you tried faxing your documents? Sometimes that gets faster results than calling.

I've heard that using a service like Claimyr can expedite the phone process. While it's a paid service, it can save you time and stress by avoiding endless hold times. However, it's crucial to weigh the cost against the benefits, as the $20 fee may not be feasible for everyone. If you do decide to try it, keep in mind that it may not guarantee a resolution to your problem, but it can get you in touch with a representative faster. Alternatively, ensure you maintain detailed records of your communications and consider reaching out through various channels, like social media and contacting your local representatives for additional support.

I've been in your exact situation! When they told me they'd call back, I waited 2 weeks and nothing. Here's what finally worked for me: I started calling every single day at exactly 8 AM when they opened, and I also sent a follow-up message through their online portal referencing my original case number and the date/time of the callback promise. On day 5 of doing this, I finally got someone who could actually help. It's exhausting but persistence really does pay off. Don't let them wear you down - you deserve to get your issues resolved! 💪
