What time does unemployment hit your account - Washington ESD payment timing?

Check your account early in the morning, like 5 AM. That's when mine usually shows up from Washington ESD.

I have Wells Fargo. They're usually pretty quick with direct deposits but this is my first time getting UI benefits.

Oh no, how do I check if there was an issue? The website just says 'paid' for this week's claim.

Log into your account and check the payment history section. It should show the exact amount and date. If something looks off, you might need to call. I used Claimyr.com to get through to someone at Washington ESD when I couldn't reach them directly - they have a service that helps you get connected to an agent. Saved me hours of calling.

What's Claimyr? Never heard of it but I'm desperate to talk to someone at ESD about my claim status.

Good advice. Also make sure your bank info is correct in your profile. I had a friend who had one digit wrong in their routing number and payments got delayed for weeks.

Wells Fargo isn't that bad for unemployment deposits, you should see it by Wednesday morning latest.

That actually sounds really useful. I've been trying to call ESD for two weeks about my adjudication and can never get through.

It's worth checking out their website at claimyr.com - they explain everything there. For me it was worth it to actually talk to someone rather than waste entire days calling.

Yeah I got the confirmation screen and my claim status shows as 'paid' so I think it went through correctly.

Then you should be good. Washington ESD payments usually hit within 48 hours of filing if everything is correct.

It's really frustrating when you're living paycheck to paycheck and can't predict when money will arrive.

I think it's more about banking processing times than ESD intentionally delaying things, but I get the frustration.

Hopefully that's all it is. This is only my second week getting benefits.
