Washington ESD unemployment deposit missing - where is my unemployment deposit?

Nope, it just showed up eventually. Their system is a mess.

The issue date shows as Monday but still no deposit today (Wednesday). Should I be worried?

If it's been more than 2 business days since the issue date, you should contact Washington ESD to check for any payment holds or issues.

If it shows as 'paid' then the issue is likely with the bank transfer. You'll need to speak with Washington ESD to trace the payment.

How did that affect direct deposit though? Shouldn't that just be bank routing numbers?

Ask specifically about any rejected ACH deposits from Washington State. They should be able to tell you if something came through and why it was rejected.

Direct deposit to my checking account. Had ReliaCard before but switched months ago.

Most payments go through without issues. Don't stress about it unless you actually have a problem.

You have to call Washington ESD to request it. Which brings us back to the phone problem everyone's having.

Called my bank first - they said no deposits were rejected. Going to try that Claimyr thing people mentioned to get through to Washington ESD.

That's actually a great idea. My credit union might do that.

Some banks do this but it's not guaranteed. Depends on your relationship with them and account history.

About 4 days from when it was supposed to be deposited. Just showed up randomly.

Not everyone has the luxury of keeping extra money around when unemployment barely covers the basics.

I know it's hard but even $50 set aside can help with these situations.
