I've been trying to figure out what causes unemployment to decrease because my claim has been stuck in adjudication for weeks and I'm starting to panic. I filed my initial claim back in January and everything seemed fine at first - I was getting my weekly payments and doing my job searches through WorkSourceWA like required. But then suddenly my payments stopped and Washington ESD put my claim under review. I've been calling their customer service line every day trying to get through but either get busy signals or get disconnected after waiting on hold for hours. My question is - what actually causes unemployment claims to get flagged for review? Is it random or did I do something wrong? I reported all my work hours correctly and kept up with my job search requirements. Really need some insight here because I can't afford to wait much longer without these payments.
